Would be better off to just restrict amputator usage. This plugin does not fix the issue when medic taunts in the
fireline of the enemies to friendlies and dies during the taunt by enemy or kills himself. The end result is the same as disconnecting.

Interesting that the glitch would occur via death by enemy fire or suicide, but not via explode.

I've been unable to reproduce this. I've had bots/players kill me mid taunt while i was "healing" friendly bots/players and everything is normal.
I also tried suiciding mid-taunt by using kill in console and still nothing, everything is normal.

Yeah, looks like you just need to change:
