right....well i did tryed that...ive tried deleting it from the SErver, via FTp then uploading the new one...still nothing

Ill try Deleting, then restarting the server , then uploaing new ones, then restarting server again..if its still on 0.6c

this was not a official valve information. I have this rcon problem with hlsw since 2 month. I wait for stema or hlsw update ;)

If hlsw shows rcon false then I restart the server one or more if hlsw show rcon right ;)

I have found this in hlsw forum

That crash without error problem just came up again. The logs are totally empty as well Running win2k3 with everything on the install default.

IN REGARD TO THE HLSW PROBLEM:

I also dont think it has anything to do with sap. I have sap on my server as well as hlstats. I have noticed that hlstats will stop logging kills correctly (name changes and team changes stil log) as well as HLSW not working anymore.

The only solution I have been able to get to work is to restart my server every day (I have my provider automatically do it at 6am every morning).

Since I have been doing that, I have had no problems with HLStats or hlsw!

Oddly enough, I did the same thing. Since SAP is in use any time the server is up, what you MUST do is stop the server.

Stop the server
Delete old file
FTP the new version up
Start the server

Thats all there is to it. If you dont stop the server it will not let you replace the current sap.dll file that is on there, since it is already in use and loaded up on the server. Stopping the server should fix your problem.

i m using 0.6 e (foolback after 0.7 pre) and i can unrestrict awp i must type admin_unrestict awp yes '(same with "all") i remove all cfg with resrtict command bu same think i must time ecery round remov awp or sometimes every map

This is surposed to be more stable than the previous release(s). Read the installation instructions in the archive it has changed since the previous release.

Note: Someone has reported, on Linux that they had some success after changing the path in the VDF to - cstrike/addons/SAP/sap_sp - If it doesn't work then give it a shot.
