yeah, you should use localhost as the hostname.

the plugin itself works fine, no one else has problems with it. If you dont know how to use mysql just use vault saving. Why are you trying to use SQL anyway?

I just tested some errors and here is what I get

No MySQL running:
Code:
L 12/06/2005 - 16:25:58: [superheromod.amxx] DEBUG: MySQL connect error: 'Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)' (localhost,SuperHeroModUser,sherodb)
Bad user and/or password
Code:
L 12/06/2005 - 16:32:14: [superheromod.amxx] DEBUG: MySQL connect error: 'Access denied for user '5SuperHeroModUse'@'localhost' (using password: YES)' (localhost,5SuperHeroModUser,sherodb)
that leads me to believe there is no mysql server running on your system, or if it is its not running on the standard port, is being blocked by a firewall, or is not accepting connections on localhost. I cannot really offer any help except to tell you to get mysql setup correctly and then superhero will work.

That could not interfere with localhost connections. If your mysql server is on a different computer than the one hosting the server then its not on "localhost" and you need to use the internal IP to connect to it (ex 192.168.1.103). You also need to have a user with proper permissions to allow connections from another IP besides localhost.

i think that might be it. would it be the same ip as the server?Port Range

Application Start End Protocol IP Address Enable
just add it here?(under http://192.168.1.1/Forward.asp)
