On the map awp_india, a player SPAWNS with an awp. they dont find it on the ground or anything. since they SPAWN with it, the restrict command has no effect.

Is there a plugin that will stop the player from spawning with the awp? Or do i have to do it by hand and take it out of the bsp of that map or something....

Not to be rude but don't you think i've thought of that? Stupid and unnecessary post.

Already searched approved plugins, no one has a plugin that takes the weapon out of your hand if you spawn with it. As for making it? lol i cant script, although i would like to start learning, any links to a good tutorial?

anyway back to my problem...
This would be appreciated if someone could come up with some useful advice.

Not to be rude, but the same can be said for this whole thread since it's redundant.

Anyway, although I think requesting the required changes to the author of hidenseek.amxx which you seem to be using already makes more sense, I searched for 'strip+weapons' and stumbled upon this plugin (and many others) which might be worth trying.

oh yea.....i forgot i already posted this a while ago. nobody got back to me very well so i forgot about it. My mistake.

anywho...i tried that plugin you put up http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=10645and it didnt work. i put everything in its place and put these commands in my amxx.cfg

startingweapon_t "strip"
startingweapon_ct "strip weapon_knife"

i even nulled the commands so the default could take over, it didn't as far as i know because i still spawned with an awp.

this looks right compared to the examples that were given. But they dont have any effect.
