Hello everybody,

I tried Drek's calculator to find out how many slots my Server can handle.
So, first I did a speedtest to get matching rates..

Imo, this should be enough to host a few slots. Then I entered my Hardware Specifications and it told me 64+ slots, but I want to know how many slots exactly I can host.

Is there any formula for calculating Slots based on hardware?

Greetz,
Kia.

I basically said you are asking the same question. The answer is always the same vague answer that everyone gets because it is so variable and depends a lot on implementation and such.

But how is Drek's Calculator telling me then that I can host 64+ slots?

I'm not sure but you can always assume some stuff and come up with general guidelines. The question is then how accurate were those assumptions for your particular situation.

He wants to know exactly how much slots his hardware can host, but the mentioned calculator doesn't show that. It just says 64+, which apparently is not satisfying enough
