You can NOT find your server in Internet Server List, if you're hosting your server in the same machine.
As far as i know!

Actually, it is if you are on the same external IP as the server, the Internet List will never return it.

@OP, What is the value of sv_region?

I'm gonna try find it on my friends computer. I will report back if I found it or if I didn't
Edit:
Couldn't find it at my friends house. But I was able to connect to it by using the console (connect ip:port)
And sv_region is 3

I really would like to know why a friend can't join my server via "New Game". I have already forwarded my ports. This is my amxx.cfg:

Quote:
sv_lan 0
sv_region 255
setmaster add 193.84.64.9:27010
setmaster add 69.28.151.162
setmaster add 72.165.61.189
setmaster add 207.173.177.11
setmaster add 65.73.232.251:27040
setmaster add 68.142.72.250
setmaster add 207.173.177.12:27010
This is output of status:

Quote:

hostname: bibu's gameserver!

players : 1 active (32 max)

# name userid uniqueid frag time ping loss adr
# 1 "bibi" 1 STEAM_MY_REAL_ID 0 01:04 0 0
And this is on server start:

Any help is appreciated.

You should know better. You don't need any setmaster commands on a legitimate server.

Ok, and why doesn't the server then respond or tells me this even I remove those setmaster lines:

As far as i know, New game only create a listenserver and force your server in sv_lan 1, if you want to play public then you need to host a dedicated server in your case cs1.6 dedicated server.

Got a simple method to allow people from internet to join your listenserver but it need a HexEdit on your "GameUI.dll" file and change "sv_lan 1" to "sv_lan 0", i bet this is a risk to VAC ban .
