If the number of players on an unreserved server drops below the max, will the server become reserved again?

EDIT: No, it won't.

So the only way to re-reserve the server after being unreserved is to restart the game ?

So if I have 8/9 players, then I decide to spectate the current full game and after a few moments a player decides to leave, no one will be able to connect using matchmaking ?

I wish this plugin worked without left4downtown, that extension is ultra unstable and crashes pretty often

Use L4DToolz! It has the same functionality.

As for Downtown being unstable. You can simply remove the functions that cause crash. The biggest drawback of Downtown is that it has too many unused functions. Some have been replaced by L4D2 Direct, but nobody cared to remove them from extension.

Personally, I only compile it with the stuff I need and it has been pretty solid. You may want to try that and see if it helps.

I'm using l4dtoolz for the slots now and I was using left4downtown for this plugin and the forcepause only ( but decided to remove it because of the crashes and server lagging )
l4dtoolz has the sv_force_unreserved but it completly disables the ability to join from lobby and I would like to use the manual sm_unreserve only when I need it.

Tbh I have never tried to compile extension myself before but I may look into it

Use Team Switch Panel for pause option. It works great!

L4DToolZ does not disable joining from lobby. I don't see why you would want to manually unreserve the lobby, but maybe make an SDKCall and get it done that way?

Left4Downtown2 may crash the server, but in my experience, it only happens once every 2-3 days. Keep in mind that Downtown patches plenty of functions and that will play a part when it comes to other plugins.
