Hi, i the orangebox server ( ./steam -command update -game "orangebox" -dir .) in the /home/gmod folder (Linux). and when this 'server' downloaded i need download de garrysmod server in the same folder?, ./steam -command update -game "garrysmod" -dir . in /home/gmod ?, for have the all files? i need this?

or only download de garrysmod server?, sorry for the english D:

Install the garrysmod server first then Install all the extra content you to add to the server afterwards and yes, you place it in the same directory but use the garrysmod installation for a server instead.(aka parameter startup)

I installed Garry's Mod for someone. I just installed all the Source games. Google "gmod server setup", there's an article on the GMod wiki.

I haven't set up a Garry's Mod server, but I assume you also need to install the other game servers in order to access their contents (via './steam -command update -game tf' and './steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source"' and such)

Thank you!!, for example when i put a hl2 car the server crash, what is the 'manual' instructions for create the server, for example the order and games of

a list of needed's (sorry for this answer, is ok??XD) games for run good the GArrysmod server, in a folder '/home/garrysmod'

Most likely you didn't have the HL2 models and such. HL2MP will take care of that.

The Linux version of the VPhysics library is broken for vehicles (and lots of other things ), use this version patched by AzuiSleet.
