damage stats is off so how do i turn it on? and in mani_server it is set to on.

yes so when people die it auto shows up.
mani_player_settings_damage 1
then your gonna want to delete
mani_player_settings.dat
mani_player_name_settings.dat

or else it wont default for people that already have it set as off i believe

Release V1.1.0zf_b (4th December 2005)

This patch file will update your V1.1.0zf or V1.1.zf_a to the V1.1.0zf_b version to fix the remaining issues.

I have not updated the main installation files yet so if you reinstall from scratch, install V1.1.0zf then overwrite the binaries with this patch.

People who have tried the V1.2 Beta F version should delete their mani_player_settings.dat and mani_player_name_settings.dat files before restarting with V1.1.0zf_a

Changes
Fixed a stack problem with player settings (re-engineered from Beta version)
Re-written CBaseEntity and related code to no longer rely on the SDK Header files during linking. This will be updated soon to handle other mods including full functionality for DoD:Source.

Mani,

Have you ever considered having weapon restrictions simular to beetle's weapon restrictions where you can specify restrictions not just by map but also by team.

If this is already in place, how is it done as I could not find it in the documentation.

Also, is there a way to limit the total number of sniper weapons (awp, autosniper, scout) allowed per team? ie: 1 awp in use at a time per team.

Updated our servers (running SuSE Linux) and .....


Everything is working now, weapon restriction also!!!

Release V1.1.0zg (6th December 2005)

This should be the final release to cure the problems from the weekend update. V1.1.0zf_b should be fine for CS:S servers but it's worth upgrading to this version as there is more code to make it completely devoid of relying on the SDK headers which caused all the issues.

This is for CS:S, DoD:S, HL2DM. It will probably not work on other mods until I get the latest version of their servers and adjust the gametypes.txt file to support them.

Admins using the Escape style menus will notice that they only display one menu option. This is not down to the plugin but is a Valve bug. I have notified them of the problem so it is in their hands for now.

I will download the latest Dystopia and CTF releases tonight so I can update the gametypes.txt file tomorrow. Once that is done I will port the changes through to Beta F.

Many thanks should go out to Bailopan, PMOntoNo and LDuke for contributing to this release.

Changes
Updated more code to be independant of virtual function SDK headers.
DoD:Source admins can use more things like teleport, slap, burn, drug etc.

mani, I installed 1.1.0fg on my dod:s server and tried running metamod source and fakeclients. Everything seems to work ok (i.e. I can see the plugin when I type 'meta list'), but when the bots join the server it crashes. I understand from Duke that mani may be sending messages to the bots?

Is there a fix for this problem in the future?

Yes the Beta version had this fixed. In the chaos since the update I really didn't have time for applying other fixes from the Beta to the code. Tonight I will be porting all the fixes from the weekend forward to the Beta for a target release of maybe today but more likely tomorrow.
