Why is AMXX called AMXX and not AMXY or AMXC or whatever.

My personal answer:
It's always the X. X-Files, X-Ray, X-Men, X-Factor. The X is so wonderful mysterious!

Because amxmodx is 10x better than amxmod (It's double funny because X is roman numeral for 10, and is also 'TIMES'... Thus 10 times better--hahahaha)
