Suggestions:

Maybe add a config system to exclude certain files from being automatically precached/added to download tables? Maybe set it so you can either block a file from being added to download tables OR precache for more control? Might seem arbitrary but it could make your plugin more customizable for people in a lot more situations.

Maybe a ConVar to enable/disable the plugin?

How many files are you using? If you already use them all, that might be not a plugin's problem.

This plugin precaches resources that you added on your server automatically. So if you don't use all of what you've added, i recommend you to delete something.

Convar to Enable/Disable the plugin feature and Config for excepting some folders will be added on next version.

Added features for excluding folders from being precached and uploaded.

and now, you can switch this plugin by changing ConVar.

add a cvar to turn off auto precaching would be good
since most plugins precache themselves
i think most people would want to use this so they don't have to manually setup the downloadtable

If i remember correctly, resources won't precache again if those were precached before.
