rum_rpg.smx (RPG): Required extension "Left 4 Downtown" file("left4downtown.ext") not running

I have that error and I don't know how to fix it

the extensions i found for left4downtown are named after : left4downtown.ext.2.l4d2.dll

Yes, that is correct - "left4downtown.ext" is the name of the extension, it is for the engine version "2.l4d2", and it is a "dll" for Windows.
