Sarge, i think he wants a resetex command that rather then target by player it targets by weapon. Like say everyone who was given a perma wrench would have it removed rather then having to target each player who has the wrench individually.

That or an added functionality to the current command that when someone uses the variable @all to target & reset weapons they can pick a single weapon index they want to remove from everyone.
Ex: All players have weapon index's 1 & 2 but he only wants to remove weapon index 1 from all players without removing index 2.

At least that's what i get from his statement, oh and Hai Sarge.

Ps: Hey sarge, when i try to compile your source i get a error stateing that "Force_Generation" on line 1029 is an undefined symbol. Any Idea why?
(I know its not something i did, i was not even messing around with that line before recompiling)

Update your tf2items.inc.

Also, ok.

/resetex @all slot 0
/resetex @all index 9

I think I'll do it that way. Optional 2 params.

Sounds good for the params, as for updateing tf2items.inc... It doesn't want to work afterwords.

Scratch that, i got it to work somehow.... Apparently my compiler is trying to take the inc files from an older instillation of my server that serves as a backup. Hmm guess its time to update that xP

Whenever i give someone a weapon it imminently disappears how do I fix ?

Can you give more information then just "It immediately disappears" because the weapons will go away if you hit a Re-supply locker, die, swap class, re-spawn, etc.
And if you want them to stay till you leave the server (or type sm_resetex) try sm_givew_ex rather then sm_givew when going to give someone a weapon.

I have a feeling that's not what your looking for but i am not quite too sure of what you mean or the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of your weapon.

Also, to everyone else, sm_resetex's upgrades are done, but I haven't tested them.

What I meant by the changed reset command was something like:

sm_resetex <playername> <item index number>

So that it only removes that specific weapon on the specific player.

And to rehash something I said in my last post, I dunno if anyone's suggested it yet, but what about "sm_giveweapon_ex <item index number>", without having to put a players name in?
