And why doesn't this plugin kick in when a new player joins the server?
I'll always end up with names not colored..

Because normally new players dont have flags. you need a default option in your config

With new player i didn't meant a player who has never been on the server.
Just a second ago someone who was in the Noobz group joined my server yet he didn't have his colors (green) and tag...

Since 3.1.0 you can use Steam3 IDs. The problem there is that you removed the brackets. They're part of the ID. Unsurprisingly, removing random parts of IDs makes things not work.

You wouldn't remove the STEAM_, would you?

With the brackets it didn't do anything...

Anyway how come when a player joins my server the colors don't update?
All the time i have to reload my config by hand..
And then the other persons have colors and tags in their names..
THat's not the way it should be working right?

I too had this problem. The fix for me was to disable the plugin called: custom-chatcolors-menu.smx

Once I did that and changed the map all the colors and tags appeared correctly with no further action required.

Try sm_reloadccc to console or try the updater or try sm plugins unload custom-chat-colors.smx and then sm plugins load custom-chat-colors.smx

Don't you think i've tried that?
Yes the colors of the players who are at that specific moment in game gets their names colored. But then poof 1 second later a player joins the game and doesn't have colors because he missed that update.
What i'm trying to say is this plugin should be reloaded once a new player joins which it currently does not.

I've found a workaround but that's not a good solution.
I've found a plugin which calls sm_reloadccc every x seconds but that shouldn't be necessary.
