Infinite is technically any number. It's not a finite number -- it's not defined. It's just any number. 2(infinite) is theoretically impossible to calculate, but then again any undefined variable is. If I randomly asked you to calculate 2(x), if you said anything other than 2(x) as the answer, you would be incorrect.
