Thanks for the help, but can you please tell me the reason to use sys_ticrate 100 and fps_max 101 and not higher? Will setting it higher gives performance boost?

CPU Speed: 3000 Mhz Core: 1 (Not Necessary)
Ram: 4096 MB
Players:16

What I got was:

sv_minrate 0
sv_maxrate 5453
sv_minupdaterate 4
sv_maxupdaterate 18

I would advice you to use sys_ticrate 100 and fps_max 101 (1 higher to sys_ticrate).

Well You can look yourselves too or wait for other good replies.
Not make any sense...
Why use sys_ticrate 100 if sv_maxupdaterate 18 ??

It should be minupdaterate 30 and maxupdaterate 60 or higher ?

And what important is upload... 735 kbps/sec is very minimal.
Can't host 16 players server perfectly. Now it show maxrate 5000 (if enough and players not lag then ok)
You maybe have to decrease amount of player slots to get this rate higher... (or get better broadband/upload)

With max. 10 players server you can give maxrate 9000

and sv_minupdaterate should be also 30

Well I use Windows from my point of view It is not going to give you any major change in the performance. As far as we talk of linux u can certainly get it setting sys_ticrate 1000 and fps_max 1001.

Well about the question of Why I use sys_ticrate 100 cause:
  • It is far practically more stable on Windows. Using more than required is n0thing but a nonsense.
  • I have asked other renowned member of the forums I found that most of them use sys_ticrate 100 only.
  • Anything Surely missing. I'll get to that when remember.

Well I've used the famous Sticky post of this Forum!

Blame it! Not me! I've not calculated those formulas.

You can't get perfect rates your 16 player server with small upload... my opinion

If you try 16 player server... (what is impossible with that broadband)
sys_tickrate sys_ticrate 100
sv_minupdaterate 33
sv_maxupdaterate 100
sv_minrate 3000
sv_maxrate 5400

One problem is can't host whole upload 735kbps... server need sent also different information/packets, so I added to this 5%.
Now it's 698kbps to players.
Could appear choke and lag

If want better rates have to drop player slots.
example
... host 4 player server you can set
sv_maxupdaterate 20000

I actually checked, and you might be able to have 8-10 players. (With somewhat stable rates)
