SteamCMD setup wont go through

Hello Modders!

I'm a veteran HL1 & HL2 emulator who recently got back to the emulation where I'm trying to setup those counter-strike servers through the new client called "SteamCMD". When running the commands in order, i get this weird error.

Commands in order:

Code:

#LOGIN ANONYMOUS

#FORCE_INSTALL_DIR c:\TESTSERVER

#APP_UPDATE 90 VALIDATE

and the error output is:

Error! App '90' state is 0x2 after update job

[When going for the CSGO appid everything works smooth, only appid 90 makes this error appear for me]

Googling this error gave me tips to secure the disk space, RAM usage and cache installation folders created by the client. Although none of those tips solved my issue.

Emulation? Why would you want to do that?

You cannot use Anonymous due to a Valve error. Once it gets fixed, then you can go back to using it. Please search before you post

Doesn`t work and with loggin steam.

That error I have it a week ago, and does not solve.

I did maked another topic on this subject.

In Windows is same problem with errors from updates.When will resolve?Gived emails to Alfred, will respond?

oh the irony. (no offence, it was just kinda funny)

Anyways, I know it isnt neccesary to switch OS just to create a server through steamcmd.

And there is no chances when trying login in and doing the same procedure.

I try connect with my steam account, and no way.Server can`t be downloaded, is down just engine, updates maybe.

hm strange. I just tried me self, and I got connected but still same error as mentioned in #1

Solved it

Apperantly the client uses the registry for it usage aswell. I could never imagine it did lol
anyways, I deleted the registry keys from steamcmd and tried once again. Now it works

(In anonymous mode too actually)
