Hey all,

Thanks for the help so far with PMA. People are pretty happy the clantag detection is working again!

Anywho, I'm currently looking into getting my plugin working on CS:GO and I'm a little stuck on how on earth I go about doing it. I tried recompling my linux version with the new binaries from a CS:GO server but that didn't work and Linux is just saying "Failed to load"... Is there a new SDK or code changes needing to be made or perhaps a wiki of how to port like with OB?

A few tips to get you going,
- Start here, http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Porting_to_Left_4_Dead
- Use the hl2sdk-csgo @ http://hg.alliedmods.net/hl2sdks/hl2sdk-csgo
- Add COMPILER_MSVC and COMPILER_MSVC32 to your defines on Windows, and COMPILER_GCC on linux.
- Make sure to also link interfaces.lib/interfaces_i486.a, in addition to tier1.

I may do a wiki article for it at a later date. Most of this applies to the Alien Swarm engine as well, but that did not have a linux version.

Thanks for the response I'll be working on doing that soon as I've got my automation done!

One thing I'm not sure on is how you go about doing this points:
Add COMPILER_MSVC and COMPILER_MSVC32 to your defines on Windows, and COMPILER_GCC on linux.

I'm pretty sure I found the VS setting for that (Preprocessor definitions?) but I'm a bit lost on Linux >.<

Add -DCOMPILER_GCC to the compile flags.

What should I use instead of engine->Time()? gpGlobals->realtime()? Or is there something else I should use?

Also on UserMessageBegin, that message name is that just a random string or does it need to be the types such as TextMsg?

Having a few problems on Load, The plugin is compiling (with quite a few warnings, I'll add those in too).

about gpGlobals, its probably not initialized at that point, about the interfaces you may have to change something since there was that interfaces library added

Ahem, Yes, putting 'gpGlobals = pPlayerManager->GetGlobalVars();' prior to using it is probably a good idea
On that note, it gets to the ConnectTier1Libraries( &interfaceFactory, 1 ); now that I've done that. I'm taking a look at Mani and SM central to see if I can work out what I'm doing wrong. They have funny ways of loading which isn't quite a crystal clear as a serverplugin_sample load

Just being a little more specific, after commenting out th "ConnectTierx' lines, It manages to get this so S9.2

I can't find anything like those connect lines in SM or Manis plugin files, So I'm a little confused at the moment with what is needed and not >.<
