For future reference, if you have:

mp_death_drop_gun 0 // Which gun to drop on player death: 0=none, 1=best, 2=current or best

You can't/won't drop weapons when alive or dead.

Tnx for the tip...the command name was kinda confusing thought it just drop weapons upon death only.
