right i installed 0.96 the other day. however on EVRY map change the first kill on the new map would cause the server to crash.

so i thought i should use 0.95 witch fixed the crashing but caused a BIGBIG problem, after some time it would literaly go rouge, where ALL servers running on that machine Inc the FTP(bind error) server and non-deathmatch servers to give an error varifying steam id ticket.

now ive been forced to disable it because it causes a problem for our other server but could i find out why and how to fix this?

the server with deathmatch contains:
mani
glittermod
Stripper
CSSDM
IRcRelay(was disabled at the time)

Have you tried disabling 3rd party plugins to see if it'll work alone?

FYI: the steam ticket thing makes no sense, there is literally no way CS:S DM could affect that -- processes are isolated and encapsulated.

well I'm having a similar problem on our DM surf server.

It crashes almost 4 /5 times a day atm. but it was doing this with 0.95, so i upgraded to 0.96, it worked perfect for next 24, then crashing again :S

This started happening since the DWP update so i presumed mani is broke again. but if there any info i can get to you bailopan so i can rule out DM plugin as the problem pls let me know as DM is the main attraction on the server and i dont want to remove it

PLugins currently use
Mani 1.2betaN RC2 12
CSSDM 0.96
metamod 1.3a
stripper 1.1a
eventscripts 1.21.005
-- scirpt antiblock
-- ace rates

running on linux platform

If you have SSH access I can run your server in a debugger to try to identify if it's CS:S DM. Just PM me access (I need GDB minimally, and access to SRCDS, and its startup line so I can restart it).

If not, you will have to debug it yourself by removing plugins until it stops crashing.

FYI, make sure Mani is running as a SourceMM plugin.

My server also crash... I first used 0.95 version, with no problems (never crashed etc). But I missed the old spawn protection, so updated to 0.96 version.

Now with the new version (0.96) my server crash all the time... (map change)

Plugins I use:
Mani 1.2BetaN RC2-12 VSP
CSSDM 0.96
metamod 1.3
stripper 1.1a
eventscripts_v1.1.1.015w

Windows server.

Just to verify this is indeed an issue, .96 was crashing on me too when using the old skool spawn protection (protection_type = 1). I've been busy so I havent had time to really troubleshoot. I just went back to .95 for an easy fix. I'm running a Windows 2000 server with the latest Source Metamod and the latest mani and CS:S DM both running as MM plugins. No other plugins.
