That's 476 days since he last was online on this forum and 751 days since the plugin was last updated. So it's pointless even discussing what you want to get fixed and what you want added because
the plugin author is not active anymore.

I use this kool plugin on my L4d2 server. When I try it on a L4d server I get a blue_portal spawnwd message but I don't see the blue portal. How do I point the cfg to a portal model file?

Can anyone make a cvar that lets you decide how many entities can use the portal at the same time? I like to play around once in awhile and spawn many infected then make them go through portal and teleport them to hazards.. But there's a charge duration for the portal.. Ex: If Hunter went through, then Jockey can't go through as well at the same time cuz it has to recharge the portal power. If anyone would be so kind to do add a cvar?

LOL, nevermind. I found one of flud's early posts of the Portal Wall and I tried it. Now I can teleport as many entities without it recharging. No need to add cvars anymore. Also, best part is.. I can use both plugins as well.. The Portal Wall and Portal. So, thanks anyway.

After reading most of the posts here, I got the impression that Portals for L4D does not work anymore. I had Portals working on my L4D server about a year ago before it quit working. However, I do have some good news. after the L4d upgrade to steamcmd just about all of my addons failed. Last evening I decided to use the latest MM and SM dev spapshots for Windows. (MM 1.11 SM 1.6) After verifing that MM and SM were working I compiled the Portals .sp and put the .smx in the SM plugins folder. A "sm plugins list" cmd in the console showed Portals working ok.
I then Joined the game and spawned the Portals just fine. The portals in L4d seem to be blue and red walk-up coin telephone stands with a mellow transport sound different than the sound of the L4D2 transport. Thank's for all the work you did to bring this great plugin to us. DBD...
