it does work, I have made it myself work for dedicated server on steam, but I had to do some tweaking which I found on amxx using their support forums and the above topic[/quote]

gave up trying to manualy installing amx[x], so im just going to use the auto installer with amx.
what path would i extract it to for a listen server?

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\fliemoe\counter-strike\cstrike

on that auto installer for steam.......there is no superhero.ini or the file to save or to unsave xp......

I just wanted to add something simple to this, it is a problem that I have come across a few times

When you use an installer, make sure you change the directory to where your folder is
ex
progrem files/steam/steam apps/[email protected]/dedicated server/cstrike or czero

If you don't change it, the installer will make a folder called email because the default install directory is something like
progrem files/steam/steam apps/email/dedicated server/cstrike or czero
I have found a few times when I ask trace your directory that there is an email folder

Does the auto installer on steam work on a listenserver instead of the dedicated server? Because I just tried it and when I make a server, CS just disappears, no error or messages either. What do I do?

turn on logging and see what the error is in the logs.

edit the autoexec.cfg (or make one) and add

log on

to it.
