Is there any plugin for Left 4 Dead 2 that will automatic turn off crosshair for everyone in the server?

This was tackled and talked about a while ago. There was a plugin which did this but the command is client-side only now. Set hud could be used irrc but this also hides the overlay such as team health and weapon swap which also gets blocked by hud being on 0. So there is no real solution unless someone knows another method or maybe by use of an extension.

Yes, you can't change client settings since 2012 or something, yet we see this kind of question each and every day.
