None of those errors have anything to do with this plugin.

Make sure you have left4downtown2 installed and you're actually setting both the difficulty and the override cvar.

Well, let's start from the begin:

1) i Downloaded the first attached .rar folder here: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...=left4downtown (the one of 158.0 Kb)

After that, i placed the rispective files in the rispective folders.
(Little question: when i type "meta list" in console i see: [03] Left 4 Downtown 2 Extension (0.5.1.0) by Igor "Downtown1" Smirnov / Andrew "XBetaAlpha" Burrows / AtomicStryker / Michael "ProdigySim" Busby.
Why? i re-downloaded the files and re-placed them in the folders, i restart the server but nothing change! Now i'm sure that this is the error. So how to update this left4downtown 2 to the 0.5.2.0? I miss something? :S

2) If i'm not a totally newbie (and i'm not... because i installed 25 plugins) i placed this plugin in the right folder... So the problem is this Left4downtown 2 extension. Can you help me? (i see also that it's your) Thanks!

If you're seeing 0.5.1.0, this means that your left4downtown2 hasn't been updated properly. You may want to delete your old left4downtown files, put the new ones in, and restart the server.

Also be sure to double check your difficulty cvars when you're testing.

Ok, after some try i can see the 0.5.2.0 version of left4downtown 2.
In the menù i write "map_c1m1_hotel versus", then i write in the console "l4d2_force_difficulty 1", and "z_difficulty impossible".
Result: Zombie still still do 2 damage per hit. T_T
I check the error logs, and i didn't see anything on this plugin.
It looks like that i will never play on an Expert Versus... I'm desperate.

Are you on windows or linux? This plugin honestly works on my server with no issues. Again, when you're hit by common, check both of those values. You might need to use sm_cvar to change z_difficulty.

I use both the commands: "z_difficulty impossible" "sm_cvar z_difficulty impossible".
I use windows.
Are there some incompatibilities?
Did you tried this plugin with all the plugins disabled and with only Left4downtown 2 extension disabled?

Ok, i'm going to show you my active plugins on my servers (maybe you can find some conflict):

1) Extra Players
2) Survivor Ai Trigger Fix
3) All 4 Dead 2
4) Zombie Charachter Select
5) Weapon Drop
6) Incapped Crawling
7) Incapped Meds Munch
Jockey Jump
9) Point System
10)Weapon Unlock
11)Witch Precache
12)Spawn Alarmcars
13)Votemanager 2
14)Bile The World
15)Ghost fly
16)Tank skill: Roar
17)All 8 survivors
1Super Versus
19)Explosive Cars
20)Left4Dead 1.2
21)Perkmod 2
22)Infected Bots
23)Witch Control
24)Gear Transfer
25)Upgrade Pack Fix
26)Difficulty Override

Extension:
1) SourceMod (1.3.4)
2) Left 4 Downtown 2 Extension (0.5.2.0)
3) BinTools (1.3.4)
4) SDK Hooks (1.3.0)
5) SDK Tools (1.3.4)

Hope you can find some conflict!
Thanks!

EDIT: If i put "z_difficulty impossible" on the menù, and then i write "map c1m1_hotel versus", the zombie do 20 damage per hit, so it works (i leave "l4d2_force_difficulty" on 0).
When i change difficulty ingame (or the map change), automatically zombies return to do the 2 damage per hit and never change until i EXIT the game (return to the menù, set the difficulty to impossible and restart my server doesn't work).
If i put "l4d2_force_difficulty 1" nothing happen, the problem still remain. So in my game the "l4d2_force_difficulty" cvar is useless.
What can i do to keep the versus game on impossible?
And how can i change the difficulty during the game without restrict it to normal?

Looks like there was a problem with the windows signature. My apologies.

http://code.google.com/p/left4downto...ntown.l4d2.txt

Get new gamedata for left4downtown2.

Get new gamedata for left4downtown2.
I place the new gamedata file in the folder!
Thing are going always better:
Now after i put "z_difficulty impossible" in the menù as first thing (is normal this? you too put the difficulty cvar as first command?), and select a map, my server still keep that difficulty for all the campaign!
But if i change the difficulty during the game, it will reset it to normal until a exit from the game (like in my previous post).
"l4d2_force_difficulty 1" is still useless... it doesn't change nothing :S
What's his real function?
And this plugin should allow the difficulty change also during the game?
Can you change the difficulty during the game?

Thank you a lot! I'm very happy that i can modify the versus difficulty!
If you can make it so i can change it also during the game (or perhaps it should do this?)this plugin would be perfect!

Hope you will tell me if the above option is already working for you (and so it's 1 my problem), or if you will add this!

Thank you again!

Sorry about all the Windows issues.

New Left4Downtown2 here, and version 1.1 of the plugin on the first page.
