Hey i have tried putting several zombie mods on my dedicated server. i dled sm and mm and installed them and got the zm beta and threw that where it was supposed to go. maybe i'm just dumb but i would like some help as what to do

Have a look in zr_manual.txt in docs in the zip package.

To install extract contents of cstrike in the zip, into cstrike on your server. Then the rest of the configuration is explained in the manual.

I'm currently making a HMTL version with links and better formatting: http://helgeby.no-ip.org/zrdev/zr_manual.htm

The manual is incomplete, but the configuration section is almost done. I really hope this manual is useful, otherwise make a new thread with feedback about it. ^^

Is it possible to allow the server to remember what classes people pick so they don't have to pick their classes every single map change. It's really annoying.

Not in beta 1.

It's possible in beta 2 (not released yet): http://helgeby.no-ip.org/zrdev/zr_manual.htm#3.7.4 - zr_classes_save

If you manage to compile the latest snapshot you'll get this feature.

A lot has been fixed in beta 2. It also has some improvements in various places, but there are still a few features we want to code first. Most issues and bugs reported on this forum are fixed, so I consider it stable (even when some report random crashes).

What new features beta 2 will get depends on how much time we have to work on this plugin. We've chosen an approximate release date for beta 2, but I won't tell when. All I can say is that we're getting closer to a beta 2 release.
