I installed this and extracted it to cstrike. Is there anything else I need to do? -- I checked an installation guide and it says that is it, but I don't see how that would work.

extract it to a folder in cstrike/addons/ and add it to your metamod config

then just setup the hlguard configs.. then reboot...

I went into metamod folder and opened plugins.ini and added the line
Code:
addons/amxmodx/hlguard/dlls/hlguard_mm.dll
to it.

Is that all I have to do with it?--'cause mine's still not working

hlguard is a metamod plugin (like amxx is a metamod plugin) its not a amxx plugin.. its folder should be addons/hlguard/ not in the amxx folder..

and you add the corrected dll line to the metamod ini file :-P

and do a FULL restart to get it to load.. and check 'meta list' to see if its running...

(i mean it could very well work in that setup, but since its not for you.. i would try the defualt dir structure..)

also edit some of the stuff you may want to use in the config files (i.e. hlg_menu "password" - allows you to manually warn, kick, ban, or alter hacks hl guard checks for as well as other important settings)

Hmmmm... that would help, wouldn't it. It's in the addons folder, but I typed the wrong dir in the metamod .ini, lmao. Thanks.
