Hey Dr. Api,

Just tested the latest version and it appears to have regressed in this one way:



Upon first connect, particle files are downloaded but red X's are being displayed.

I did the following:
Wiped all plugin & related files prior to testing 1.3.5
Wiped local particle files
Uploaded new plugin files
Overwrote particle files (just to be safe, in case they had changed)
Uploaded particle files to FastDL server

I think I'm doing everything right. Every color comes out as the red X's, until you walk inside of them, then you see the smoke. I have verified that the particle files are being properly downloaded each time, and I am getting no plugin errors.

Thoughts?

This is a normal issue if you delete particle from local the server will understand that is not the first time you connect on this server.

So you have three solutions:

type !csm = will force all players to the default smoke.
type ! !fs #userid/name will force the player to the default smoke.
Or at the line 143 change this

I know what he mean, I have this problem too, people can see through the smoke when they in the smoke, I set VIP use only . They reported to me

Ah I think I understand. To clarify, what you're saying is that the plugin uses clientprefs and checks if it is a player's first connect, and if it is, it forces default smoke until map change. Correct?

I'm assuming the reason it didn't work for me is because it saw that I had already connected once prior, so it decided to display the plugin smokes. Didn't realized you introduced clientprefs already, derp

Yes no others way to do... And this problem for particle not only CS:GO is reported...
