Sure, but cracked servers can be updated too.

status is all you need. Regular STEAM_Id's currently range from STEAM_0:1:100 to ~~ STEAM_0:1:41000000. Non-steam clients with STEAM_ID's have usualy either wront pre-numbers, for example STEAM_0:4 (STEAM_0:0 or STEAM_0:1 are the only valid ones) or mega long numbers, for example STEAM_0:1:130938409234. Others got VALVE_ID_LAN or STEAM_ID_LAN.
If you found any of those incorrect ID's it is defiante a non-steam server. There is mostly no way to see if a server is non-steam or not beside maybe seeing the servers protocoll number in tools like HLSW.

STEAM_1:0 and STEAM_1:1 are just as valid.

You refer to L4D and L4D2? I thought they rolled back those STEAM_ID's.

I have no idea to which games they are linked or wether they have been rolled back, revoked or whatnot. My note was just to prevent misguidance when people discover such SteamIDs in databases like AMXBans, HLStats or Sourcebans etc.

Sorry, TF2 was it, but that was just a few days. It is rolled back. All accounts now have STEAM_0:0 or STEAM_0:1 again
