1.3, beta branch or 1.4, development branch

I noticed that I now have an option to download the 1.4 dev version of Sourcemod.

However, I'm curious what the primary differences are and if updating from 1.3.2865 to 1.4.2878 is wise.

Any insight?

Only "stable" changes will be going onto the 1.3 branch. 1.4 is for active development.

The two branches are not very different right now because we're gearing up for release. You can keep track of major changes here:

I'll read through the link you provided.

Just didn't want to install 1.4 and have my plugins freak in the middle of a game of scavenge :P

also: I appreciate all the work you guys do for SM. So big thanks to you and all the others who invest their time to make this happen!
