I've seen this done on some servers before where the client can type a ingame command and It will connect them to the teamspeak server that the server ip has on it.

How would I set this up. That is if it is possible to do with sourcemod.

Does teamspeak support using URLs to connect to servers? If so, you could probably use the Web Shortcuts plugin.

Yes, it does. And an example for the web shortcuts plugin may look like this (tested):

"!teamspeak" "TeamSpeak" teamspeak://ts.foo.bar:8767?channel=foochannel?nickname={STEAM_ID}

Yes indeed, thats exactly what we use, but differing to the link above I add IP, so I can check the logs if required:

Well when I do it to launch teamspeak, tf2 minimizes when the ts window comes up.

There a way to get it to start minimized?

I need to figure this out as well. I think its because the client is using vista but who knows.

If this can't be done is there anything else I can try besides the webshortcuts.

Just launch TS minimized when starting your OS. No pain solution.

Well yeah, that works great for me, but I don't want other people to get minimized when they type in !teamspeak

That's why I rather figure out a way to add a minimized command to the link
