When they release 1.44, this will be my first time updating, will it be as simple as extract the new sm, overrite old files, and all of my old plugins will work? Or will there be additional steps, if so could someone give me a detailed explanation or shoot me to a link. Thanks in advance

Upgrading SourceMod works pretty well for me.

The .dll/.so files require that your server be stopped before you can upgrade them.

However, I do suggest overwriting the translation files first before stopping the server. Due to the sheer number of translation files, they take the longest time to upload (assuming a broadband connection).

Also i have one last question. My provider dissabled Source MOd, how can i reinable it through ftp?

It depends on how they disabled it.

Chances are they renamed the addons folder, so look for a folder named something similar to it (such as !addons or .addons). Just rename it back through FTP.

The other major way of disabling SourceMod and MetaMod is to move the addons/metamod.vdf or addons/metamod/sourcemod.vdf file. In those instances, you look for files with similar names to those and rename them back.
