Hi,

i need a script that tests, if a player spawns on the right base. and if it is the wrong base, the player should directly respawn on the right base.

it is for a special deathmatch plugin and i have the problem that the CTs sometimes spawns on the T side and vice versa.

Hey there,

I actually recruited a map maker to do just that. He decompiles the maps, and adds more spawns.

I'd like to see this plugin too

You don't have to decompile maps to add spawns. You just have to add the entity in to the .bsp file.

Okay! hi ottobohn. I asked in the eventscripts forums for that and someone wrote a script for me. i will test it now wether it works.
so when you running eventscripts on your server than PM me and i will send you this script

They easiest way is to decompile maps , using tool named VMEX (see http://www.fpsbanana.com/tools/358) and you just manually add some spawns , but, when you add them, you need to compile back map, and decompiled maps are sometimes unstable, like lighting will be incorrectly compiled etc. or custom textures will work incorrectly

EDIT : Or using that bl4nks's way, but you need to know XYZ co-ordinations where you want to put your entity , to make it working correctly, otherwise players can spawn inside walls or ourside map.

you can create "info_player_deathmatch" and "info_player_start" entities with a plugin
