I'm having an issue where I am unable to fully join my own server, I'm stuck on the loading screen when it is halfway full then it freezes and stays there never updating or moving, I've uninstalled and reinstalled L4D2 once to see if that would fix the issue but the problem persists, I've been able to join before this issue happened and my friends can join and play on the server just fine.

Any ideas on what I could do or try would be much appreciated.

Rather than writing about it as solved, people usually explain how they come to the solution.
Perhaps it'll help somebody else.
