If they can afford everything else (as in a connection to view forums, probably a good upload/download speed service if they can download a 2gb game and play online, etc.), why not?

There is no greed or being "bad" if the forum rules state that we do not support and should not support it. There are other sites that can probably help him.

Giving our support is losing trust from valve and this can include no more support for mods from valve, hope you know the consequence of helping this person. He's being greedy by not willing to pay for the game.
