There are no cvars, so install it and use.

What does the plugin do? *
What cvars does it have? *
Do you owe credit to anybody? *
Is there any particular install instructions?
What modules does it require?
Is a changelog necessary?

PreThink is really not a good method and would be a waste of cpu for something that is only related to a player using a ladder.
You would get a much cleaner method with Orpheu.

I vaguely remember ConnorMcLeod doing something with ladder I think. If so you could check his code for hooking ladder.
