im watching this tutorial on youtube and this dudes auto complete works perfect, mine does nothing

Did you setup the correct folder to the spcomp.exe in the sourcemod compiler option?

Notepad++ would be sooo much better if it had a way to dynamically use custom .inc files for autocomplete and stuff.

Compiler options under preferences. Make sure to change it on the SourcePawn (or SourceMod) tab rather than the AMX tab.

still nothing, btw when i close pawn studio i always get the popup "pawn studio has stopped working" and when I open it again, the compiler resets to AMX mod and the file path to spcomp.exe gets deleted

am I supposed to have sourcemod installed on my pc? cuz I have a remote test server

is there a step by step tutorial on how to install/set up this program and how to compile a simple plugin

nah, it's pretty straight forward... what OS do you have it running on?

I've only run it on XP, Vista, and Server 2003

windows 7 sp1

edit: the auto complete only semi works, its weird it only auto completes for certain words (like bacon) but nothing else, its still probably configured wrong,

anyways, I was able to type a simple plugin and save it as an .sp and used the sm web compiler to compile it and it works fine on my test server

but I was hoping to get auto complete working and compile it in program
