the problem about players not seeing the correct light settings was a bug in the engine module, it will be fixed in next release

Thanks for the heads up.

In any case, now the light level is stored in the vault when set. That way, when new clients load up the map, it checks the vault to see what the current setting is at or if it is infact off. Then it sets the lights accordingly. Kinda squashing the bug by getting around it.

nice plugin, GJ, I also have a few suggestions.... like a little fade betwen changes... (controlled on/off by cvar if you wish) and a ambient lightning change also... to make more realistic to make the diffrence betwen morning and dawn.... but don't change the sv_skycolor_r / g / b cvar 'cause it's no use, change the entity's propeties (the main light... light_env... )

hey can i haev some help i dl it i put the file in addons/amxmodx/plugins and typed in teh plugins.ini amx_lights.amxx and restarted server and i get the error amx_lights unknown command i have tried ur s and 2 othe pppls that are almost exactly the same sept theirs has xmas trees wht am i doing wrong??

Sorry for unburying this, but I have a suggestion. The light letters should have a logarhitmic scale, because currently, the difference between a and b is enormous, while there's not much difference in the higher letters. Players can still see alright in b, while a is pitch black. I'd like to have a few steps inbetween...
