I am pretty sure they put advertisements in the Now Playing: text that displays when songs change too.

Lol, that is a different radio station, and they don't have adverts because no-one will sponsor them. Frag Radio have been established for 6 or so years, have alot of background and followers. Adverts aren't necessarily a bad thing. Also the music Hive plays is not a wide variety like ourselves, they are a specific radio station.

Don't need to go through the code, there are CVars for it, Check the scripting file, near the top as always there is a section to turn off by setting the value to 0

I like the plugin however I do not like the advertisements for donating and advertisements for other clan's websites.

I'm removing this on my 30+ servers for that reason, unless you can disable it server-side.

You could do fr_streaminfo "0", that way you won't get ads but you also won't get which songs are playing.
