I have question:
If i use cvar sv_downloadurl, and upload map's and other files for ftp server, then when someone connect to server will he download all maps and all other files that are on this server, or only this which we are playing(map, wad, etc.) right now?

if you put evrything on you server in a .res, wouldn't it download it all in once?

It will downlaod all files that you put into a .res for the map you are currently on. If you added all of the files to the .res file, theoretically it would downlaod all of the. I believe there is a limit to the number of files it will download though. i remeber a guy trying this and giving up and just making installable map pack that people could download if they wanted all of the files at once.

I wanted to know that: If i put some files on server and then when someone connect will he download all files on this server, or only this which he require for current map, i feard that when someone will connect he will to donwload all files on this server So now erverything is Ok, he will download only files that he has to play on current map, and i can put in res file which name is same as current map about which files should be downloaded with this map . So thx for anserw and we can close topic? or not
