On my counter strike source servers I have some odd behavior with the html motd pages. When I try to display a page it will only show the first page that they viewed.

This happens largely when its the same domain. So if I send them to the base site at index.php, and then send them to info.php on the same site, they still see index.php. However, if I send them to google.com and wait a second (have to delay by at least .5), and then send them to info.php, they see it fine.

Very odd, any ideas or similar behavior? I am using ShowMOTDPanel.

Known issue, seems to be a bug in Steam's use of the Chromium Embedded Framework. It's also known to affect TF2, Empires, and CS:GO.

I wrote a plugin fix for it that doesn't require plugin recompiles. It should work out of the box if your page doesn't block iframes, otherwise there's some configuration options you can tweak to use the "delayed send" method you mention.

Thanks. I have been using a static page with SQL on the csgo server, this would be nice to swap around for both. I was going to try that on CSS but doubted its validity. Didn't realize it was an issue on both games.

I rarely mess with our CSS servers these days. Thanks again!
