Ok so i am having a rely wired problem with 1 of my servers on my Linux dedi. When i try to start my server i get this in console

Unknown command "*********"

And that also happens any time i try to exec my server.cfg i did make sure that it is in the correct encoding for linux (recreated the file with VI) and it also is owned by the correct user.

I have disabled SM and MM and it still happens. I also del the bin folders and did a steam update still not working.

...I have tryed every thing i can think of and it is still happening.

hmm try to edit it with npp through ftp
you can also download a standard cfg and edit that the same way.
i use mcedit but only for small stuff, maybe vi is better? but you view a file best in an OS, not console

This is probably a result of using UTF8 w/BOM as the file encoding.
Most decent editors will have options to convert it.
