I've had it working for some time. Just added a teamplay check so you can use it with dm servers.
You'll likely have to update the core plugin for this.

The most difficult thing was converting the damage functions, SDKHook's TakeDamage is just not sufficient. So I had to improvise here. Partially managed to implement impact trace via TE's and also an entity 'hack' for 'proper' radius damage.

So yeah, while limited by sourcemod's capabilities, I got pretty close to the sdk code. Enjoy

I likely won't share more weapons anytime soon as they were meant to differentiate the server from others. You are however free to modify example weapons to make new ones, which is kinda the point of this plugin (Hint: The minigun is similiar to the OICW in that it doesn't require any additional scripting)

What version of DHooks is required? No matter what I do, even on a dedicated server with every resource needed (Custom models, scripts, materials, sounds AND plugins, even DHooks too!)
My SourceMod is working fine too. Should I recompile the plugin, or am I missing some essential step?

Is there anyway to set this up for synergy? would changing the customguns.txt in the gamedata folder be enough?

Edit:
Updated the file in gamedata folder to match synergys offsets, synergy didnt have all offsets listed in the gamedata/sdkhooks.games folder so the plugin just crashes the server when i join in
is there anyway to find all of the offsets a game uses?(and their values) some kinda console command maybe?

I'm not really sure whether that'll work. There may be some hl2dm specifics, although a definite breaker would be if synergy lacked the weapon_cubemap entity.
If you want to try you'll need synergy's linux server file to get the offsets, convert either with this dumper or manually

Also I've been made aware of this plugin crashing with the latest DHooks version, I'll have a look at that soon.

Btw does synergy have any built-in support for custom weapons?
