so i put this on my server and i found out my steam id is blocked and i dont know why so i took it off. did you just randomly put some of these steam ids in. i liked the idea but i don't want people that don't hack to be banned from my server. i was a little disappointed in that part. but great idea

We don't have a concrete list of SteamIDs for Cyber Cafe owners, this is what Voogru was able to extrapolate using his experience. Course Valve won't provide us with a list either... for obvious reasons.

That is why there is a whitelist function.

Hi Voogru great plugin btw, the problem i have is one of my community members can no longer connect to the server due to cafe blocker, is there a way of letting certain steam id's be able to connect ?

Its not clear exactly what numbers this plugin is blocking, is this done on purpose?

I'd like to point to other cafe blockers who do provide exact numbers/methods.

Basically, I just looked at the ID's that had been confirmed and found 4 digit patterns off them. If that 'range' had more than five active accounts on it then it was put into the above list.

I intentionally hide my range, but it's a 100k ID wide range, also the theories about the mythical "auth" server, I believe are incorrect. All ID's are internally stored as a single 32 bit account ID.

The 1/0 just determines if the account ID is odd or even.

Technically, his method of checking the games on the account to see if they have over 100 games is very clever and accurate, but I anticipate that valve will fix that, as it's probably a bug.

A white list is a list of Steam IDs that are allowed through when the would normally be blocked.

The opposite of a black list, basically.
