Its very unlikely that this plugin will crash your server, you sure that its Tidy Chat causing the problem?

When Tidy Chat disabled then the Server works.
With Tidy Chat enabled then the Server crashed on join.

Hi, great looking plugin, could really do with it on our server.

A noobish question, but i have put the smx file in:/orangebox/tf/addons/sourcemod/plugins

then i put the following in cfg/sourcemod/sourcemod.cfg folder
sm_tidychat_on (1) // 0/1 - On/off
sm tidychat_voice (1) // 0/1 - Tidy (Voice) messages
sm_tidychat_connect (1) // 0/1 - Tidy connect messages
sm_tidychat_disconnect (0) // 0/1 - Tidy disconnect messages
sm_tidychat_class (0) // 0/1 - Tidy class change messages
sm_tidychat_team (0) // 0/1 - Tidy team join messages
sm_tidychat_arena (1) // 0/1 - Tidy arena resize messages
sm_tidychat_streak (1) // 0/1 - Tidy arena team scramble
sm_tidychat_cvar (1) // 0/1 - Tidy cvar messages

A) is this the right place for it?
B) should i remove the brackets (i have tried with and without)?

It doesnt seem to be working at the mo. I have restarted the server on each occasion i have altered something.

This may be a stupid question, but unless i have step by step instructions and can copy and paste, i usually FAIL

Could do with adding on the front page for other noobs like myself

It should look like this in your .cfg file:

sm_tidychat_on "1"

No parenthesis, also you don't need to set the convar values to their default value. You only need to set them if you want to change them from the default.

There were added a native in SM 1.3 SetEventBroadcast to avoid usage of re-firing events method. Just a note.

if i need to put " instead of () you should put that on the first page?

i dont even know what parenthesis means, i wont google it on principle.
