Can you get more karma or lose karma, or is karma always the same now?

You never know what you are getting, but yes you can still gain/lose karma.

I was unaware that the color is now not displayed. That's just confusing. What's the benefit?

if u get blue karma u dont know whether its + or - (Unless the comment says so) so u cant really rage at it
