I did some testing (not very extensive though), and I found these things.

1- Lets say the claymore is facing you, and you run towards it, you'll trigger it, but by the time it blows up you'll be behind it, yet, it still kills you. The claymore isn't supposed to kill you if you're behind it.

2- This one is kinda tied to the first. You can't defuse (disable) the claymore from behind, you're supposed to be able to stand right behind it and shoot it or knife it without it hurting you.

I think these arise because the blast radius is circular, that shouldn't be. The claymore is a directional explosive and only kills within a certain angle range in front of it.


3- The plant sound doesn't seem to work well. Whenever I plant I hear knife sounds, I think its because its taking the place of the knife when you select it.

EDIT:
Nevermind, Number 3 is my mistake, you hear the knife sound and the planting sound as well.
Also, additional cvars would be nice, they are listed in previous posts by me (friendly fire for example).

Yes, he didn't describe how to use it.
Type 'say buy_claymore' in the console to buy, or just type 'buy_claymore' in the chat.
Type 'say /claymore' in the console to use, or just type '/claymore' in the chat.

the /claymore is buying for me?!?! so i really need to type claymore in console to use it.. the /claymore doesnt work as planting and because of that i can't bind a key to it (pretty anoying)

After you type 'claymore' in the console the claymore will pop up. To plant, just click.
Keep in mind this is a beta or an alpha even, don't think this is the finished product.

yea i know but i tryed to make a point that could be bettered in a newer version

tip: planting it should take a littbit longer cause when someone follows you you just take the mine and insteandly kill him =/
