Version 1.7.3 is out. It's mainly BuiltinVotes-related fixes, but I also added the Korean translation file Minoost submitted.

Additionally, if you use BuiltinVotes, please upgrade to version 0.0.3.0 immediately, as it fixes a major voting bug that allows people to vote multiple times.
  • BuiltinVotes related
    • Fixed a bug where Extend current Map would sometimes be selected if no one voted.
    • Fixed a bug where a failure message would be shown if no one voted, rather than a success message showing the selected map.
    • Fixed a bug where rtv would no longer work following a map vote.
  • Added Korean translation. Thanks, Minoost!

The warning timer doesn't occur when the win limit or round limit is hit. The CheckWinLimit and CheckRoundLimit functions are calling InitiateVote directly instead of SetupWarningTimer. Was this intentional?

Yes, although it could be changed if people really wanted that feature. And I noticed when playing on a MapChooser Extended 1.3 server, it does do the warning countdown.

I personally like that ability and have my server set up that way.

I also added the ability to limit the amount of maps displayed per vote that are exempt from the TF2 quick play system, as well as forbid quick play exempt maps from being listed in the vote entirely if the current map is exempt (unless nominated by players). My server starts to empty out if too many customs are played in a row so I found this useful, but is probably out of the scope of what you're trying to accomplish here. Cool plugin by the way.

Does the plugin conflict with the Hale mod in any way? In my VSH server the vote works just fine, but the warning timer, after reaching 0, just disappears and doesn't display the "stats" (real-time number of votes for each map printed as hint text). No errors in the logs though

What's the setting of the sm_vote_progress_hintbox cvar?

(this is set in cfg/sourcemod/sourcemod.cfg)

I expect testing to start on MapChooser Extended 1.8 later this week.

Here's what's new in 1.8:

Bugfixes:
  • Votes from all sources now trigger the warning countdown. This includes round end votes, and any external sources such as rockthevote.
  • Fixed a bug that made it possible to start an external vote while the warning counter was counting down. This is much more important now that all sources are using the warning countdown.
New Features:
  • New command: mce_forcertv. This command starts a map vote that changes the map as soon as it finishes. It is similar to sm_mapvote, which starts the end of map vote immediately.
