I have a problem banned, how to ban?

Helllo. I have a problem with pernament banning guy. nothing works on him, he has some kind of changing Steam ID and IP. Ban on config doesn't work. Do you have any solution for that situation?

Sorry for my English, im from Poland.

Make your server Steam-only, update to the latest version from Valve, and ban him by Steam ID.

I know it right, but i would like to keep ability to have two protocols (Steam and Non-Steam). I wonder, is there any plugin which could fix this problem? I even have an idea for that plugin, but is there anyone who can write it. Or maby you have other idea?

We do not support such servers, if you want to keep that, find help somewhere else.

If you run non-steam he probably can change his steam id all the time. Bans by IP is never safe, neither at steam or non steam servers. Some ISPs even allow people to change their IPs just by rebooting the internet.

If somebody used to reconnect to your serve using Ostrog SteamID Changer the only possibility for you is ban by IP. If he has dynamic IP try banning all subnet. If his provider gives him IP from 2-3 subnets it's ok, just ban him for 24h, be sure he will forget your server.

Also you may try to run commands on client, for example amx_exec -> quit. Not every cheater has build-in protector and some commands could be executed successfully. It works better then kick, believe me

P.S. I know people who have 2-3 different CS 1.6 installed at the same PC, each has different SteamID. I won't tell you about few computers per 1 person, it is also possible. So be sure it is a SteamID changer. The solution is the same.

Yeah, the solution is to RUN A STEAM-ONLY server and ban by STEAM-ID! Problem fixed!

The most reliable ban method (steam or non-steam) is to turn off your server. They will never be able to connect!!

I thought non-steam server is the server where STEAM clients unable to connect
