Please update this to use the forums 1.4 compiler and remove the .smx attachment.

In your plugin lines 35 and 36 could be moved inside of "if (hype >= 97.0)".
You also check if "primary == active" twice, and the if on line 42 is probably pretty pointless.

Let me know when these issues have been corrected and I will approve this.

The first primary == active checks to see if they're altfiring with the popper. If they're not, then it goes to the else. The else makes sure that the hype meter stays at 97, and if the client has the primary weapon out, tells them to altfire to activate hype.

I'm not sure how I would change it to use one primary == active.

Updated to 1.01 for the other stuff.

Fair enough.
I misread and thought you had the second primary == active nested inside the first one.

Now, should I be doing something different with the HUD?
I was going to use a SyncHud, but last time I tried that it spammed usermessages on the client (and still does). Then again, the current hudtext should be doing the same thing.

I would use a longer holdtime and send it less often to avoid that.

Updated for Pyromania/BabyFace's Blaster. Probably could use a bit of code cleanup so it doesn't check clients who don't have a Soda popper, but for now it works.
