Hello!

After succesfully using X-Spectate a lot back in 1.6, I was very happy to find this today. Works nice.

Nevertheless, there is one thing I had some thoughts about. Not everyone knows this plugin, espacilly non-serveradmin-people. So what will such a person think, if he is scrolling over the cvar list in e.g. HLSW and reads esp_enabled 1? And only for admins.

If it can't be hidden at all, I would be happy to have a name, that makes it more clear, that this is anti cheatting and not the other way around. Not really short but maybe esp_anticheat_..?

I have tha same problem on Debian! Server starts up in every 3-4 sec.

Plugins used:
Metamod:Source version 1.3
Mani Admin Plugin 2006 V1.2BetaN RC2-6 Metamod
SBS CVAR-X 1.0 RC7
And
Mattie's EventScripts, http://mattie.info/cs, Version:1.0.0.016

Knagg0, It might be i'm missing something but it looks like I have installed everything fiine but not result is showing up on screen (I mean seeing boxes and beam lines...)
So in summary my config is under linux:
Mani v1.2BetaN, release RC2-7
MM:S v1.3,
EventScripts v1.1.0.010
Valve Anti-Cheat,
CVAR-X v1.0

the esp_spectators does contain my stem_id

When I do perform a meta list I get:
156:16 -Id- Name Version Author Status
[01] SB CVAR-X 1.0 RC7 sslice RUN
[02] Spectator ESP (Sour 1.00 RC8 Knagg0 RUN

When i do type in console "esp_menu" I'm not getting any error and back in the game I have the menu with options to enable esp and select the drawing options.
Thi is telling me that plugin is installed, running and recognizing me as an admin
I can set everything on 1 nothing is showing up when I'm behind a human playing

I have also tried with parameters to enable the plugin for all, for died people only....doesnot change anything.

I have also tryed to launch the plugin after all others were launched (manually by exec esp_spectators)

So my questions are:
- am I missing anything like a cvar that I need to change in the server.cfg ?
- Does the plugin work on Counterstrike Source after the update of the 24 August ?

The Spectator Plugin stopped working for me after the September Steam server update. It wa s working fine prior to that. I updated to the lastest version of metamod source and mani mod hoping to get it working again but no luck.

Here is my config file:

Guy's , I finally sorted it out: it is working and by the way it is very nice, we'll do a good job of sanitization^^

How did I got it running ?

1) I have installed the vsp version insteadt of the mm
2) I have tested with another admin, and he was starting to see some colored vectors but unstable and crashing clients all the time
3) I have then disabled all my other plugins: mani 1.2 rc 28, mattie 010 metamod 1.3 and cvarx and it was then working for my friend, stable, accurate, alls vectors, team, opponents, boxes....BUT not for me???!!!
4) After investigation, I figured out that when you select the view you have multiple choices and I had to select the free view to get same good result as my friend while he was selecting the appropriate view behind the player.
Don't ask me why or how this can be, I have not clue and I don't know but it's a fact and it appears to be a twist in my hud or CSS gui....I dont care as long as I know what to select to make it work
5) then I have reinstalled all my plugins one after one, testing in between and it kept running fine

So as a summary for those that wants to know a working config:
Mani Admin Plugin v1.2BetaN, MetaMod:Source v1.3,
EventScripts v1.1.0.010,Valve Anti-Cheat, CVAR-X v1.0 and for sure
Spectator ESP (Source), v1.00 RC8 by Knagg0
tested and installed the 18 sept 06 (after the august 06 valve update)
So thanks for all of you that devellop the plugin and provided me help or hints to figure out.
